Add Questions to a Quiz

How do I add questions to a Quiz? What are the quiz question types? 

A. 
The Quiz activity module allows the teacher to design and set quizzes consisting of a large variety of Question types, among them multiple choice, true-false, and short answer questions. These questions are kept in the course Question bank and can be re-used in other Quizzes. Please note it is impossible to edit questions or add questions to a Quiz after attempts have been made on that Quiz.

Use the following steps to add questions to a Quiz. 



1) Turn editing on 

2) Open Quiz page 

3) Click on Edit Quiz

4) Select Add a question

5) Select question type desired then click next. There are multiple question types available in for use in Moodle enabling you to choose one that suits your needs.

6) Complete General settings for the question. General setting include name and text as well as other question-type specific settings. 

7) Add other details to question. As multiple choice was selected as the question type in step 5, the various possible responses and their grades are added in this step. Details needed will vary by question type. 

8) Save changes at the bottom of the page and return to edit quiz page when completed.
