How do I add a Calendar event? Can I edit or delete a Calendar event?

The Calendar displays four types of events: Global, Course, Group, and User. Activities in a course that have a due date associated with them will auto populate a Course Calendar events on the specified due date. Students may add User events to their personal TLEARN calendars. A user event is a private event and only the user that created the event can see it. Follow the steps to learn more.
1. Locate the Calendar block and click the month link. This will open the Calendar in the main are of the page.
2. Click the button New event.
3. Add a Name for the event, Add a helpful description, and choose the date/time. Try to avoid generic event names. Be specific. Use the description area to provide crucial information.
4. The Duration and the Repeated events are optional features. The Duration allows you to provide more information about the event: duration or without duration, until specific date, or in minutes. The Repeat allows you to repeat this event for future dates and for how many weeks.
5. Click Save changes to save the event.
6. The event has been added to the Calendar. Remember that this a user event. It is not visible to other members of the class.
7. The entry is visible in the daily view, the weekly view and the monthly view of the Calendar. Hover over a date with an event a preview window will appear showing the event name, which links to the event.
8. Edit or Delete an entry. Click the pencil icon to Edit and the white X to Delete.
