How do I add blocks? Where do I go to add activities or resources? What do the icons represent?

A.

A TLEARN course can be customized to your preference. You can add and move blocks, activities, and resources. You also have the ability to dock your blocks to the left side of the page. Edit a course by following the steps below.



ADD ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES
1. In the top right corner of the screen, turn Edit Mode ON. Or you can also use the option in the Settings block.

2. Add new Activities and Resources. The Activity chooser will be enabled so select the Add an activity or resource link. From the list choose the module to add to the course.

 

 EDIT ICONS

1. Edit course Activities and Resources by using the Action icons that appear to the right of the module. 

Each icon performs a different function. Hover over the icons to reveal the name.

- The pencil with a shadow icon is Edit title. (NEW FEATURE) You can now quickly and easily edit the title on the front page and not have to click on assignment to then update the assignment. 

- The (left) right green arrow is Move Right (left). It will indent the module either right or left. 

- The grey four point cross is Move. (NEW FEATURE) This will allow you to drag and drop your module into any topic/week in your course. 

- The colored pencil is Update. It will open the settings page for the module. 

- The two blue linked circles is Duplicate. (NEW FEATURE) It will allow you to make a duplicate of your module. Click the icon to recreate an assignment, label etc.

- The red circle with an X is Delete. It will delete your module. 

- The blue eye is Hide. The grey eye is Show. This will show or hide your module from student view.

- The grey person with a plus sign is Roles. You can assign roles locally to the module.

ADD A BLOCK

1. Add a block menu is available to add new blocks to a course. Select the block to be added from the drop down menu.
